The statewide, toll-free Food Resource Hotline is open Monday-Thursday 8am-4:30pm with extended hours on Wednesday from 8am-6pm and helps Coloradans across the state connect with food and nutrition resources. The Hotline is available to all Coloradans, regardless of legal status, in 150+ languages. All caller information is confidential.

Food Resource Hotline
Statewide and toll-free: the Food Resource Hotline connects Coloradans to needed food and nutrition resources. Our services are available to all Coloradans in 150+ languages, regardless of legal status. All caller information is confidential.

Cooking Matters helps parents and caregivers struggling with limited food budgets learn how to shop for and cook healthy, affordable meals.
The Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP)
TEFAP provides people living on a low income with extra food each month at no cost.
Commodity Supplemental Food Program for Seniors (CSFP)
CSFP distributes supplimental food for low-income persons at least 60 years of age.
Delivered Meals
Organizations who deliver meals to older adults, individuals with disabilities or individuals with life threatening illnesses, such as cancer.
Aging and Disability Resources for Colorado (ADRC)
ADRC offers information on the full range of long-term services and support options available to older adults through a person-centered, interactive decision-support process. Call 1.844.COL.ADRC (1.844.265.2372) to learn more.
Economic Impact “Stimulus” Payment
Economic impact statements, commonly known as stimulus payments, were passed to provide economic relief in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. These payments will not be taxed and will not impact program eligibility.
Other Programs or Public Benefits
The 2-1-1 Help Center (Dial 2-1-1 or (866) 760-6489) is toll-free and helps you find available services and resources in your community such as housing and childcare assistance.
National Diabetes Prevention Programs (DPP)
DPP teaches skills and knowledge to support lifestyle changes to prevent diabetes.
Medical Assistance

Unemployment Assistance
The Colorado Department of Labor and Employment offers financial assistance to folks experiencing unemployment. For more information or to apply, please visit CDLE Unemployment.

Low Income Energy Assistance Program (LEAP)
LEAP helps eligible Colorado families, seniors, and individuals pay a portion of their winter home heating costs during the winter (November through April). Please call 1-866-432-8435 for more information.
