Hunger Free Colorado
Hunger Free Colorado has funds available for schools in Colorado to expand the National School Breakfast Program. Schools that wish to expand the current breakfast program or begin a new breakfast program may apply for start-up funds for equipment, marketing materials, personnel, and/or limited building renovations. The purpose of the grant is to cover costs associated with breakfast expansion that are not covered under current funding and reimbursements. Grant amounts range from $500 to $2000; the average grant amount is $1200.
Applications will be judged on a rolling basis as funds are available. Complete the fillable form application below and push the submit button. If the submit button does not work, please e-mail the form to bobbiejo@hungerfreecolorado.org.
Once the application has been approved, the grantee will be notified via e-mail. The grantee will be responsible for returning receipts for approved purchases and also supplying the nine digit district FEIN to Hunger Free Colorado in order to receive reimbursement. Once all the receipts and FEIN are in order, reimbursement will be sent within a month.
